Walker J. Mondt
Attorney
Walker joined Goldenberg Heller in 2025 as an associate attorney with a strong background in appellate and civil litigation. His practice focuses on commercial practice including commercial litigation, estate planning and bankruptcy and creditors’ rights.
Prior to joining the firm, Walker served as Law Clerk to the Honorable M. Elaine Hammond with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court of the Northern District of California, Law Clerk for the late Honorable Justice Thomas M. Welch, of the Illinois Appellate Court, Fifth District, and Law Clerk for the Honorable Justice David L. Vancil, Jr., of the Illinois Appellate Court, Fourth District. In addition, Walker has experience in general civil defense.
Walker earned his law degree from the University of Illinois, Cum Laude, in 2020, where he distinguished himself in the Duberstein Moot Court competition and worked as a research assistant. He received his undergraduate degree in Economics, Cum Laude, from Seton Hall University in 2017.
Outside of his law practice, Walker is committed to advancing the legal profession and serving his community. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Illinois Appellate Lawyers Association, is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, and volunteers as a Finance Committee Member for Camp Ondessonk, located in the Shawnee National Forest, Ozark, Illinois.
