Since 1997, John has represented business owners and families throughout southwestern Illinois in a variety of business transactions and litigation matters. Before joining Goldenberg Heller & Antognoli, P.C. as a partner in 2012, John had years of experience with hundreds of court appearances, including hearings and trials in a wide range of litigation matters. John has successfully prosecuted and defended shareholder disputes, breaches of contract, title insurance claims, real estate disputes, insurance coverage disputes, estate disputes, negligence, fraud, and conspiracy claims throughout southwestern Illinois.

John also has a wide range of experience in corporate and transactional matters. In addition to forming new corporate entities for clients, John has represented clients in business purchases and sales, complex asset and stock purchases, employment matters, real estate developments, and property tax appeals. A unique area of John’s practice is in the fiber-optic communications industry where he has represented clients in the construction and sale of fiber-optic communication systems.

John’s involvement in the Edwardsville and surrounding communities includes membership in the Leadership Council of Southwestern Illinois, chair of the Fire and Police Commission for the City of Edwardsville, the Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois, the Edwardsville YMCA, Children’s Home and Aid-Southern Region, and the Goshen Rotary. John and his wife have two children and live in Edwardsville.
