Daniel W. Farroll
Attorney
Dan believes in an unwavering commitment to his clients through the pursuit of excellence.
Prior to joining the Goldenberg Heller & Antognoli, P.C. firm in 2018, Dan had been at HeplerBroom for 25 years (18 years as a partner) where he built a successful practice representing a wide range of health care providers, insurance companies and other parties. His clients included hospitals, nursing homes, physicians, nurses, pharmacists, health care management organizations, physician practices, automobile manufactures, construction companies and large retailers. He also has valuable experience in insurance coverage, bad-faith litigation and professional liability claims involving insurance agents and brokers. His complex civil litigation experience includes defense of class actions and successful prosecution of several construction defect and fraud claims where damages exceeded $40,000,000.00.
In January 2018, Dan resigned from the defense practice to represent individuals who suffered personal injuries. As Dan explains, “The turning point came when I agreed to represent an employee whose employer refused to pay him for a production bonus.” Dan sued the man’s employer and won. The employee received his entire bonus, along with penalties and interest and all attorney’s fees and legal costs. “There is tremendous satisfaction in assisting people who have been exploited or injured. This inspired me to change the focus of my practice to representing individuals who are injured through the wrongdoing of others.”
Dan brings a wealth of litigation and trial experience to Goldenberg Heller & Antognoli, P.C. He has handled medical malpractice cases where patients suffered injury due to poor record keeping, communication breakdown, dangerous staffing levels, improper training, pure laziness, forgetfulness, ineptitude, arrogance and the failure to listen. Dan has a unique perspective on how breakdowns in the health care delivery system lead to injury.
Having worked closely with the insurance companies in the evaluation, management and resolution of claims for many years, his insights and knowledge of this industry influences the strategies that are key to successful outcomes.
Dan is a lifelong resident of St. Clair County, Illinois and has had an office in Madison County, Illinois for over 25 years. He has tried cases to completion in Madison County, Illinois, St. Clair County, Illinois, St. Louis County, City of St. Louis, and Pike County, Missouri. He currently lives in Shiloh, Illinois with his wife and three children.
